Making History
On February 11, 2016 the girls varsity basketball team made history. The Lady Cougars beat rival, Perkiomen School, for the 3rd time this season with a 54-19 victory in the TCISL Championship. The girls' were able to become the first female team to win a championship title in school history.
This great feat could not have been done without the help of senior captain, Maimuna Kenneh. During the second quarter she scored her 1,000th point to help lead the Lady Cougars to victory.
Overall, the team played their best game of the year. It was a full team effort with everyone contributing to winning the league championship!
